Make an
impact today

Hello, I'm Aquaponic Dumme. I’ve spent 27 years growing and teaching cannabis botany: clear, science-based guides, lessons, diagrams, myth-busting posts, and friendly help in grow communities, plus the occasional video referral. My education came from UMaine, where I fell in love with the botany of cannabis.

I’m a vice-admin at ILGM Grow Support, a moderator at Overgrow, and I run several Facebook groups and a YouTube channel where I share free lessons, diagrams, and product reviews. I also provide free aquaponic classes at my facility, on a donation bases, where you learn how to test water conditions, air, and light conditions, along with fish (livestock) care. I guide you through the whole process from cloning to harvest, using a custom, one-of-a-kind, organic soil-aeroponic substrate, with an aquaponic fertilizer base, or if you prefer, using salts and hydroponics.

This fundraiser keeps the classroom open — literally: internet, power, basic gear, and tools that let me keep teaching for free. If you're interested in sponsoring a student, or If my work has helped you grow better plants, your support keeps this classroom open. No amount is too little. Thank you.

The Fire – December 6, 2025

On the night of December 6, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., a fire broke out in the apartment of Aquaponic Dumme at 58 Main Street in Van Buren, Maine. The fire originated at the pellet stove—an appliance generally considered safe and reliable—making the event both unexpected and fast-moving.

Aquaponic Dumme was asleep when the fire began and woke to smoke and flames. A fire extinguisher was used in an attempt to stop it, but the fire had already taken hold. As smoke quickly filled the apartment, there was little time to react. Overcome by smoke, Aquaponic Dumme managed to escape only by focusing on one thing: getting out alive with their animals.

With no time to gather belongings, Aquaponic Dumme exited the building with their cat Chompay and Xoloitzcuintli puppy Saki, leaving everything else behind. They made it outside wearing only the clothes they had on, standing in the snow in socks while waiting for firefighters to arrive.

By the end of the night, the apartment, tools, equipment, records, and educational materials used for Aquaponic Dumme Reviews were destroyed. Any support received helps rebuild what was lost and allows this educational work to continue.

I’m grateful for the support and encouragement from people who helped me spread the word after the fire. K. Trevor Wilson (Letterkenny), Lew Temple (The Walking Dead), and Lochlyn Munro (Peacemaker) each recorded a short Cameo message to help amplify my request for assistance and keep the recovery effort visible.

Their willingness to take a moment and lend their voice meant a lot - and it helped more people understand what happened and why rebuilding support is needed.

The Aftermath

Photographs taken the following day by a friend, showing what remained after the fire was finally extinguished. After the initial response, the fire re-ignited and had to be put out a second time. By morning, the building was gone. These images were captured while Aquaponic Dumme, along with Chompay and Saki, were being treated for smoke inhalation, marking the quiet aftermath of a long and devastating night.

Right now, Aquaponic Dumme is staying in a hotel, which is the only option available after the fire, with no nearby family to turn to. If you’re able to help in any way—whether through a donation, sharing this page, or simply offering encouragement—it truly matters. No amount is too small, and every gesture helps me keep moving forward. To everyone who has already stepped in to help, reached out, or stood by me during this time: thank you. Your kindness and support mean more than I can put into words.
